You can view and, if necessary, cancel the browning cycle ay any time. Each cycle is controlled by an internal smart chip. The ‘defrost’ and ‘reheat’ functions regulate the length of the toasting cycle accordingly. On the ‘bagel’ setting is toasts faster on the inside element for perfect results. The extra long slots are 1.5 inches wide by 6 inches deep to accommodate 2 slices of larger breads or a bagel in a single toasting cycle.
